Mons. Athanasius Schneider

Biography

Bishop Athanasius SCHNEIDER (born 1961) was ordained a priest in 1990. Since 1999, he has been teaching theology at Mary, Mother of the Church Seminary in Karaganda. On June 2, 2006 he was consecrated bishop in Rome. Bishop Athanasius Schneider is the General Secretary of the Bishops’ Conference of Kazakhstan. He is the Auxiliary Bishop of Karaganda, Kazakhstan.
